Since this blog is more or less about learning something new (photography) you get this picture today.  Remember the earlier pictures of Julie playing ball...?  Not really any interesting pictures in this batch, but SEE BETTER!

Starting Gate

I put this post together a week or so ago and apparently never clicked publish.  I really did love the feel of the old horse race track as I photographed. 

Took the dogs for a walk today...

Will be going to the chiropractor tomorrow...

Pudgy

Sometimes I don't understand how birds can fly.  How is it possible that a bird could flap fast enough to keep this fat, little body in the air.

New lens really will reach out and touch things.  I fiddled with the auto vs. manual focus to get the birds in the tree.  Let's just say this picture looks best if you don't expand it to 1:1.  Oh well, beautiful birds either way.
